Trans
I offer top surgery and other gender affirming surgery for trans patients. I do not do bottom surgery any more.
For F –> M I usually do bilateral mastectomies (double incision mastectomies, DIM) and free nipple graft (FNG) surgery, often/usually supplemented with some liposuction to optimise shape. I have done circum-areolar and simple liposuction with nipple/areolar reduction as well, but in selected cases. Most patients do best with DIM and FNG
For M –> F patients I do standard Breast Augmentation.
I perform all surgery in my own private clinic, Tranquillity Clinic, as day case surgery – in and out on the same day. After admission I will greet and mark you up. We will give you a pre-operative sedative and you will meet the anaesthetist. Surgery is performed under deep sedation so that you will be asleep, unaware and pain-free. Local anaesthetic is used as well to help with intra and post operative pain.
After surgery, once in the ward you will recover. Good pain killer medication will be given. When you are ready, you will be discharged home into the company of a responsible adult. Regular check ups will be done after surgery and as required by you. Dressings will need to be changed and advice about scar management will be given.
The recovery time for the patients undergoing DIM and FNG is the usual post-operatively in regard to swelling and bruising – peaking a few days after surgery and fading thereafter over a couple of weeks. I like to be able to do check ups for 6 weeks after surgery just to ensure that the FNG has taken. Frequently, however, this is accomplished sooner. This is important to note in patients who travel to me for surgery.
Gender affirming surgery is life changing. My goal is to get you through this transition as safely and as painlessly as possible. Further I strive to obtain the optimal aesthetic result for you.

TESTIMONIAL – Gender Affirming
I wanted to share a photo of my results one year post-op and to thank you again for truly changing my life with this surgery. I still often tell people about what a positive experience I had with all of you throughout the process.
A year later, I remain incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and kindness you showed me. Thank you for the important role you played in helping me feel more comfortable and at home in my body.
Warm regards,
