Well we are back in HK and all is well, I am feeling great and I think everything is healing well. My breast scars have been a bit itchy the past two days, I am not sure if that is normal. There is no infection as they are not hot or red and I don't have a fever?

I just wanted to thank you very much for taking such good care of me. It was quite a big step for me to have these ops [mastopexy and liposuction] done but I am very pleased that I did them both and I am sure I will be very happy with the outcome.

I would also just like to compliment you on ALL your staff, every one of them treated me with such care and respect and made the whole thing a wonderful experience. You truly have a great team.

I'm sure you receive lots of "thanks" post operatively from people, and here is just another to add to the list! People have all sorts of reasons for undergoing cosmetic surgery, but the one thing they have in common is the trust they put in the surgeon. Although we may feel prepared for the journey, it is an emotional leap of faith, that only the end result can guarantee.

Thank you for being a surgeon with fine principles and one who cares about his skills, and the final outcome. You're also supported by an amazing group of staff, whom we want to thank too for their care, kindness and reassurance.

Jan 2007:

Dear Dr. Lazarus,

It's been a long time and I hope you and your team are well. I am well; I deliberately delayed in giving you feed back as I was waiting for the "final results." Needless to say, I have had a very smooth recovery. I still have a slight bump on the right inner thigh but it is subsiding and is no longer as hard as it was before.

Whilst I still think you were a little too conservative (less than 2litres??) the results are quite impressive and I look as though I have lost 10kg....I still have some fat to spare however I now have a defined waist, beautiful buns and I certainly no longer look matronly! I could confidently say that from the outside, my body now looks pretty much as it did at 18years - in terms of muscle tone and skin elasticity. I hope that in the not too distant future you will do the same for my face! (a stitch in time saves.........you know the saying!)

Thanks (once again) for making such a wonderful difference to my life.

Sept 2006:

By the way the liposuction was absolutely the best thing I have ever done, for the first time in my life I dont have a fat belly and can wear a bikini at age 51.

Thank you for my breast reduction last year in april 2004 and also liposuction on my thighs i have to say you were excellant and you turned my life around, i went to the doctor soon after i got home and he said you done a brillant job (which i knew anyway) i have hardly any scaring which leaves me to ask you a question when could you fit me in for a nose job? as my nose is too fat, please if you could back to me id be very gratefull, warmest regards j

This is your client M****** *******, whom you liposuctioned in July last year. I am feeling wonderful enjoying my new shape. I have been quiet because I wanted to give you a complete feed back when every thing has gone back to normal. My bums and thighs are what I have always wanted. I fail to find words to thank you enough for what you have done for me, it is a priceless gift that I will cherish as long as I live.

18 November 2004:

Dear Dirk

It is 18 days since I saw you and I just wanted to tell you that I feel
absolutely fantastic. I cannot stop looking at myself in the mirror and
seeing my new shape. I spent the whole of last weekend trying on new clothes
and how wonderful it is to be able to strut in confidently into those
designer shops.

My bruising is almost gone-some slight blotches around the knee area and the
scars are healing fast. I am back at gym and watching my diet.I have dropped
3 kgs on the scale and I am not rushing out to buy new clothes as I think
the swelling will go down further.

Just about everybody at work noticed that I have lost weight which I have
attributed to diet ( a woman's gotta have some secrets) My friends have all
commented on how slim I am looking. We are off to Mauritius on the 8th
and this time I am looking forward to getting into a swimsuit.

This has been a life changing experience.Thank you.

I'm doing very well and seem to have lost weight/centimetres (whatever it is I don't care!) since being back in the UK and my clothes are feeling so much better on me - I feel great!

Hi Dirk,

Just wanted to let you know that I've spent the lst week diving in the Red Sea in Egypt and for the majority of the week I wandered around in a bikini and felt happy about doing so. Thank you. I'm sooooo pleased with what you've done especially to my shape at the back. The curve in from my bum towards my back is fantastic and not only helps on the waist front but it makes my bum look more like a bum. I'm over the moon with it. I really notice the difference in the depth of me (does that make sense? I mean from my front to my back.) Of course with so little bruising and minimal pain (discomfort more than pain) I'll be coming out next year for another go!

The Botox is still working.

"I must tell you that my friends have all told me I have lost some weight...if only they knew!! My uniforms are now loose whereas before they were tight-fitting. I cannot believe what you have done. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!!!"
