Patients who are not from Cape Town can stay at the Coach House, my modest convalescent facility for those who want to recover in quiet, tranquil surroundings. The coach house is is a small historic cottage with a garden and pool. It is well situated in Cape Town close to amenities with views of the mountain.

The coach house

The coach house has 3 rooms each for one or two people. Each unit has a bathroom en suite and a fully equipped kitchen. The coach house is self-catering, but we provide basic provisions such as tea, coffee, milk, bread, eggs, butter, cheese, perhaps some fruit or wine or beer. Let us know if there is anything specific you would like and we will endevour to provide it for you. You can eat in by ordering from delivery services or explore some of the good restaurants in the area. The Mount Nelson Hotel is almost next door and offers a sumptuous afternoon tea amongst other things. The Garden's Centre, a major shopping centre in Cape Town, is 400 meters from the coach house. The company gardens, museums, galleries, theatres and cinemas are close by. Ashanti lodge which is round the corner, will arrange tours if necessary.

Suite 2, downstairs

Home nursing can be arranged according to needs.

The upstairs unit is warm and sunny, has no bath, but a double shower. The two downstairs units are cooler and face the pool. Each has its own bath and shower, one has a bidet as well.
